Work begins Tuesday on 5-mile stretch of Highway 52 north of Rochester
Beginning Tuesday, drivers heading down to Rochester from the Twin Cities metro will encounter lane closures on Highway 52.
Crews will be making concrete pavement repairs on a 5-mile stretch of highway, starting about three miles south of Pine Island and ending just north of Rochester on 85th Street NW.
Work should take about two weeks to complete. Only SB lanes will be affected.
The Minnesota Department of Transportation urges motorists to be attentive, drive with caution, slow down in work zones and never enter a road blocked with barriers or cones.
