The time Jon Stewart used Rochester for a segment on 'The Daily Show'

To this writer's dismay, Jon Stewart will wrap up his remarkable 16-year run as host of The Daily Show Thursday night.

To mark the occasion, here's a look back at a clip from Feb. 9, 1999 when Jon mocked a new crocheting program at the Federal Medical Center in Rochester.

"Well, this is one sewing circle you would not want to meet in a dark alley," he joked. "Inmates at a federal penitentiary in Rochester, Minnesota have recently been taught crocheting as part of a new program aimed at reducing prison stress, while undoubtedly increasing prison beatings."

Ah, you will be missed Jon.
