Rochester gets fancy with these 3 new businesses opening
I often feel bad for the auto garages and insurance agencies because they never get nearly the same level of coverage as restaurants and retail. I could write about them but, be honest, you wouldn't read it. So, with that in mind, here are three sexy businesses holding their grand openings within the next week:
Natural Grocers by Vitamin Cottage
1507 Greenview Drive SW
Opening Tuesday
This is the Colorado-based company's first store in Minnesota. Located in the TJ Maxx Plaza, Natural Grocers offers a large selection of dietary supplements and vitamins, as well as organic and natural foods. The grocery chain, now in its 60th year, has 100 locations in 17 states.
Line forming outside the new Natural Grocers in Rochester. Doors open at 8 a.m. Will you be checking it out?

Five West Kitchen + Bar
1991 Commerce Dr NW
Opening Wednesday
The owners of The Loop in downtown Rochester have a new concept for the northwest part of town. Located in the development anchored by Costco, Five West Kitchen + Bar will offer a casual, yet contemporary, dining experience for friends and families. It's also worth noting that unlike The Loop, Five West will open for breakfast every day at 7 a.m.

La Vetta
30 Third Stree SE
Opening in the next week*
It's still too early to proclaim this rooftop bar the best in Rochester (nod to The Tap House and Kathy's), but we can confirm that the views atop the new H3 Building are stunning. La Vetta's presence should make downtown an even bigger nightlife destination. DJ Gavin Boss of Apollo Music Group will be heading up the entertainment every Thursday night.
