Rochester's winter farmers market kicks off this weekend in new location

Rochester's winter farmers market kicks off this weekend in new location

Rochester's farmers market is moving indoors for the season.

The winter market begins this Saturday, 9 a.m. to noon, inside a new location at Graham Park/Olmsted County Fairgrounds (Building No. 35, see map below).

"We will have a better layout for our farmers, bringing them all into one area, and a fresher ambiance, cleaner and brighter, to enhance our customers experience," said market manager David Kotsanas.

There will be about 30 vendors, all from within 50 miles of Rochester.

Many of the same family farms will be returning this year. Additionally, there will be a "few new vendors bringing some unique, new items" to the market.

The market runs roughly every other Saturday through April 2017.

For a full list of dates and food offerings, visit the market's website.
