Concert being held in Rochester to show support for law enforcement

The public is invited to show its appreciation for local law enforcement at a concert this weekend in Rochester.

"Back the Badge" is scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 11 from 7 p.m. to midnight at the Rochester Event Center. The event will feature music from nationally-touring country music group Emerson Drive, along with local favorite Booker & Friends.

Tickets are $20 and can be purchased here.

Proceeds from the event will support the Law Enforcement Memorial Foundation of Southeast Minnesota. The group is pursuing a plan to build a memorial near Soldiers Field for fallen officers from throughout the region.

We documented those efforts back in May. You can also learn more about the organization on its website.
