News recap | Nearly 9 in 10 say Rochester is headed in the right direction
Eighty-seven percent of people living in Rochester feel like the city is headed in the right direction.
That’s according to a new poll from the Morris Leatherman Company.
The firm surveyed 400 people in Rochester at random between May and June. The city also scored high marks for schools, public safety and its parks and trails.
However, the survey did indicate public concerns over property taxes and affordable housing.
Six in 10 felt there are too few of affordable housing units in the city for rent.
