First Alliance to open fourth branch
First Alliance Credit Union will anchor a new commercial development along West Circle Drive in northwest Rochester.
The credit union announced this week that it plans to build a full-service branch on newly-purchased land located near Costco.
Current plans have the location opening by the end of 2019.
According to records filed with the city, the “business center” will house five tenants total, one of which is anticipated to be a bistro.
This will be the fourth local branch for the credit union, which has roots in Rochester dating back to 1932. In announcing the land purchase, Mike Rosek, president and CEO of First Alliance, said the organization had been seeking a convient spot to set up shop in northwest Rochester … “and we are making good on that commitment to our membership,” he added.
Once open, First Alliance will join a number of financial providers in the northwest quadrant, including Home Federal, Associated, and ONB.
