OMC relocating its FastCare clinics

OMC relocating its FastCare clinics

Olmsted Medical Center has found new homes for its two FastCare clinics.

The new north clinic will open at 102 Elton Hills Drive NW, Suite 200, which is part of Elton Hills Plaza, where OMC’s Rehabilitation Services is located. The south clinic will be located in the Crossroads Plaza, near Walgreens and across from the Olmsted County Fairgrounds on Highway 63.

OMC says it is still finalizing details, but anticipates having both new locations up and running later this summer.

Relocating the clinics — which provide non-emergency medical care — became necessary after Skopko announced plans to shutter stores across the country. The OMC FastCare at Shopko South in Rochester was closed on April 4. The clinic’s final day at Skopko North is May 23.

While the new FastCare locations are under construction, OMC advises patients needing more urgent healthcare to visit its Acute Care locations at either the Rochester Northwest Clinic or the Rochester Southeast Clinic.

Patients can also call 507.288.3443 and ask to speak with Family Medicine.  Many times, according to OMC, there are same day appointments available.
