DMC hosting 'Road to Recovery' webinar series

Celebrity chef Andrew Zimmern and Minneapolis Super Bowl LII organizer Maureen Bausch will headline a webinar series this week focused on helping Rochester business owners think past the pandemic.

Altogether, the series, known as “Road to Recovery - Navigating the Path to Economic Recovery,” will feature more than 20 speakers in five separate categories including transportation, hospitality, and restaurant/retail.

The presentations — to be streamed live online — will be moderated by Patrick Seeb of the Destination Medical Center EDA.

“As we turn the page toward reopening the economy, these conversations will be both inspiring and practical,” Seeb said in a written statement. “Business owners and public service agencies alike are creatively exploring ways to safely provide services while recreating the customer experience.”

The series will begin Monday, April 27 with presentations every day through Friday. Each webinar will run noon to 1 p.m. It is free to tune in, though registration is required in advance.
