Mayo Clinic moves up to third on Forbes' list of the best large employers in America

Mayo Clinic is being recognized as one of America's top places to work.

The Rochester-based health system finished third overall in Forbes’ 2021 list of the best large employers in the country. The report, released this week, was based on anonymous survey data from 50,000 Americans.

While Mayo has been a fixture on the list for years, the 2021 placement represents a nice bump for Mayo, which last placed ninth in Forbes’ rankings. Mayo also recently received high marks from Forbes for being one of the best employers for women (no. 13) and diversity (no. 72).
