Rochester mayoral race: Trahan, Norton lead in fundraising ahead of primary
Brad Trahan heads into this month’s primary having raised the most money among the four candidates for Rochester mayor.
The latest campaign finance reports show that Trahan brought in $18,367 since last November. Incumbent Mayor Kim Norton was second in fundraising, reporting $15,239 in cash and in-kind services since launching her re-election bid.
Britt Noser reported $8,629 in cash and in-kind services. A fourth candidate, Dean Koutsoukos, has spent $594 in what has been an entirely self-funded campaign.
Of note, Norton — already with strong name recognition — has opted to spend far less heading into the primary than her two biggest rivals. Norton has spent $2,743 to date; compared to Trahan who reported $15,604 in expenditures, and Noser who had just $931 in cash left on hand.

And as a reminder: Election Day is August 9.
