Med City Beat seeking summer news interns
Med City Beat now has openings for 2022 summer internships.
The positions offer emerging journalists the opportunity to gain real-world reporting experience by contributing to an independent news operation trusted by more than 25,000 local readers each month.
Qualifying candidates must be:
Enrolled or have experience in an academic journalism program and/or have reporting experience with a high school, college, or professional news publication.
Able to enterprise stories, conduct interviews, and meet deadlines.
Located in Rochester during the time of the internship.
The position runs June through August. Hours can be flexible to accommodate summer work schedules and other commitments.
