Med City Beat seeking summer news interns

Med City Beat now has openings for 2022 summer internships.

The positions offer emerging journalists the opportunity to gain real-world reporting experience by contributing to an independent news operation trusted by more than 25,000 local readers each month.

Qualifying candidates must be:

• Enrolled or have experience in an academic journalism program and/or have reporting experience with a high school, college, or professional news publication.

• Able to enterprise stories, conduct interviews, and meet deadlines.

• Located in Rochester during the time of the internship.

The position runs June through August. Hours can be flexible to accommodate summer work schedules and other commitments.
