Carla Nelson deserves another term in the Minnesota Senate

The COVID-19 pandemic and related shutdowns have caused much stress for my family, as well as most of the Rochester community. We have seen schools forced to close, and students and teachers alike thrown into a whole new way of learning that is far less than ideal. We have seen local businesses forced to close. We all know someone who has lost income or job benefits due to the pandemic related shutdowns. We are more divided in our communities than any of us have experienced in our lifetime.

Many of us, or even most of us are tired of our elected officials not listening to us. I am. However, I would encourage you to consider that Senator Carla Nelson is different. She listens. She cares. She is honest. She is trustworthy. She is and has been passionately advocating for the citizens of Olmsted County for the last decade. She has been a strong advocate for safely opening our schools. She has been respectful of the impact that the virus has had on our lives as well as our livelihoods. She listens to the medical experts, but she has and will continue to fight for our schools and our businesses. Please vote for Senator Carla Nelson on November 3.
