Rochester branding firm looks to boost its presence downtown with new Broadway studio
Rochester-based branding agency White Space is proud to announce a major milestone in strengthening its presence downtown, now and into the future. As of January 15, 2021, White Space HQ has been located at 319 South Broadway, a historic property right in the heart of downtown.
The space will serve two purposes right away; primarily, the building will be a “creative incubator” for the White Space team. Visual ideas, once confined to a screen, will have more space to flourish and come to life with the entire team under one roof.
(White Space has implemented social distancing and masking guidelines inside the space, to ensure the health and safety of its employees.)
The White Space team was able to succeed through the challenges of 2020, but the new space should act as a springboard to take their work to the next level.
“There is no doubt our team can work remotely effectively,” says Sarah Miller, founder of White Space. “Even before the pandemic, we’ve mastered the work- from-home concept for years. It has always been my dream to have a space that lets us explore our creative talents. If we can harness and feed that part of our souls, it will ultimately bring the best of us to those we partner with.”
Secondarily, the space will serve as a centralized location for Gift Rochester, an e-commerce local retail platform incubated and curated by White Space. The program has been successful, even without a set-in-stone logistical plan. Now, though, the team understands the next step in growing the program is streamlining the order fulfillment process.
Miller — founder of Gift Rochester — hopes the space can be part of the post- pandemic revitalization of downtown.
“To me, being in the heart of our community, lined arm-in-arm with other passionate business owners to support the artistic energy already in place makes this the perfect spot for our next chapter,” Miller adds.
When the Covid-19 pandemic eventually begins to ease, White Space will announce more opportunities for creative community collaboration. There is more in the works that the team is excited to share in the future.
