Three killed in separate crashes on SE Minnesota highways (updated)
(THE MED CITY BEAT) - Three people are dead following a series of unrelated car crashes this weekend in southeast Minnesota.
- Lynn Webber, 76, of Adams, was killed Saturday around 8:20 a.m. in a rollover on I-90 just west of Stewartville. The State Patrol says Webber's car was clipped by a passing vehicle, sending it into the ditch. The other driver, a 28-year-old woman from Peterson, was not inured.
- Charles Johnson, 70, of Eyota, died Sunday morning in a one-vehicle crash on Highway 30 just east of Stewartville. Authorities say Johnson lost control of his Ford Ranger around 8:10 a.m. and rolled into a ditch. The roads were icy at the time of the crash.
Tyler Turner, 28, of Albert Lea, was killed in a one-car crash around 8:50 a.m. Sunday on I-90 in Faribault County. The State Patrol reports Turner was driving westbound when his vehicle left the roadway, entered the median and struck a bridge pillar.
