Young, wild and broke? New report suggests moving to Rochester
(THE MED CITY BEAT) - Millenials are entering a vastly different workforce than previous generations due to major shifts in education and technology.
That makes choosing the right city to begin a career more important than ever.
Well, according to a recent blog entry by CouponsDaily.com, Rochester is one of the best places in the country to start off if you're broke and without a job.

The website ranked the city #7 on its list of the "10 Cheapest Urban Cities for TwentySomethings."
The site based its results on factors like cost of living and employment rates — two categories that Rochester consistently ranks high in when compared to similar-size cities.
“With the best of both worlds, this city is a great place for young twentysomethings to get their career started. Situated in Minnesota, Rochester has great outdoor activities as well as a thriving city atmosphere. If you’re looking to start fresh in a northern city, then Rochester is one of the best cities to move to.”
Detroit, a city that recently filed for bankruptcy, topped the list, followed by Milwaukee and Jefferson City, Missouri. The largest city in the top 10 was Houston (pop. 2.2 million) while the smallest was Ithica, New York (pop. 30,515).
