Body found in fishing pond near Foster Arend Park (update #1)
(THE MED CITY BEAT) - An autopsy will be conducted Monday on a male body found near Foster Arend Park in northeast Rochester.
The Olmsted County Dive Team pulled the body from a shallow fishing pond about a mile north of the park just before 7 p.m. on Sunday. The pond is located on the property of Rochester Sand and Gravel.
The body was first discovered by people fishing on the pond, according to Olmsted County Sheriff Kevin Torgerson.

It's unclear exactly how long the body had been in the water. Torgerson could only say that it had been there "quite a while."
The cause of death is still under investigation. However, authorities are not looking for any suspects at this time.
The sheriff's office has made a tentative identification of the body but is waiting to notify family and complete the autopsy. The name of the victim could be released as early as noon Monday.
