Italian restaurant opens in the new H3 building in downtown Rochester
(THE MED CITY BEAT) - A new Italian restaurant opened its doors on Tuesday inside the new H3 Plaza building in downtown Rochester.
Terza is the first — and far less sexy — part of the restaurant's plans for the building. A rooftop bar, set to open in August, will offer 280-degree views from the highest vantage point of any outdoor establishment in the city.
The combined venues will employ more than 100 people.
The company behind the concept, Nova Restaurant Group, already owns two popular downtown restaurants: Chester's and Pescara.
The first floor has a maximum capacity of about 180, while the rooftop bar will have room for about 120 people. The top floor will have slightly different menu items and feel more casual, according to Nova.
The seven-story H3 building was built by Rochester's Titan Development and Investments. The company is expected to break ground on its latest downtown project, the 23-story Broadway at Center, sometime this spring.
