Two Rochester natives are looking for an "amazing" post-college adventure.

Recent grads Ali Branch and Linsy Hoosier have submitted a video to be considered for an upcoming season of The Amazing RaceIf chosen, they would be the first Rochester contestants on the show since it first aired in 2001.

"We will show the nation that two women from a town in the Midwest have what it takes to succeed and kick some major butt," said Hoosier.

In the video, Branch and Hoosier discuss themselves, their relationship and why they want to be on the show. They're now encouraging the community to share the story in hopes of being selected to participate in the adventure of a lifetime.

"I see many of my friends entering the job arena, jumping blindly into the 9-to-5 grind, as if that was the only option after school," said Hoosier. "The Amazing Race provides us with a wonderful opportunity to go another direction — an opportunity to travel the world with my best friend in an ultimate test of mental and physical willpower."
