Live updates from this morning's news conference on the Chateau Theatre
An announcement on the future of the historic Chateau Theatre is expected Wednesday morning.
Representatives from the City of Rochester and the Rochester Civic Theatre will hold a news conference at 10:30 a.m. at Peace Plaza to discuss an "upcoming collaboration," according to a news release.

Speakers will include Mayor Ardell Brede and Civic Theatre Executive Director Gregory Stavrou. Local community partners involved with the collaboration will also be present.
The city council approved the acquisition of the 88-year-old building in May for a cost of $6 million. The theater has sat empty since the end of last year when Barnes and Nobles moved out.
