Iconic folk band America performing Sunday night's Riverside finale

"But Oz never did give nothing to the Tin Man that he didn't, didn't already have" — those lyrics will be stuck in my head for the next 48 hours.

That's because the famed folk-rock group America is taking the stage Sunday night for the Down by the Riverside season finale.

Best known for hits like “A Horse with No Name" and “Ventura Highway," America has been touring and recording new material since the early 1970s. Two of the band's three original members, Gerry Beckley and Dewey Bunnell, are still with the group (full bio here).

The free outdoor show starts at 7 p.m. at Mayo Park. Winona-based jam band The Weathered Heads will be the opener.

Until then, enjoy this playlist of my 5 favorite America songs.
