Do you want ride-sharing services in Rochester? Take this quick survey.
Following months of deliberation, the Rochester City Council is expected to vote Nov. 21 on a new ordinance that would allow transportation network companies (TNCs), such as Uber, to begin providing service locally. Prior to the vote, there will a public hearing, in which anyone who feels strongly about the issue will be invited to come up and speak before the council.
There has already been a lot of discussion and a lot of reporting on ride-sharing. But at the last council meeting, one member noted there wasn't much hard data on the subject. Our goal with the survey below (takes less than 2 minutes to complete) is to collect additional feedback from the community before the council makes its final decision. We'll then break down the data and publish the results to the Med City Beat the weekend before the vote.
