Temps could reach 100 degrees this weekend in southern Minnesota

Get your swimming gear ready — this weekend will be a scorcher. 

Temperatures will reach 90 degrees by the weekend, with forecasts showing the possibility of 100 degrees for Sunday. Daytime highs in the 90s are expected to stick around through next Tuesday. 

For those looking to cool down outside, the Soldiers Field pool will open on Saturday, while the pool at Silver Lake will open to the public on Monday. More information can be found here.
