Nelly schedules 2019 show in Rochester

Grammy-winning rapper Nelly is taking over the Olmsted County Fairgrounds next summer, show promoters announced this week.

Nelly will perform July 25, 2019 for the final of three straight nights of live entertainment at the fair. The acts for the first two nights will be announced later. Early bird pricing for all three nights is available now for $49.50.

There are also meet-and-greet tickets available for the Nelly show for $100.

Nelly is one of the most successful rappers of the past two decades. His breakthrough album Country Grammar — filled with hits like "Ride Wit Me" and "E.I." — spent seven weeks on top of the Billboard charts back in 2000.

Over the course of his career, Nelly has sold more than 21 million records in the U.S., making him the fourth best-selling hip hop artist in history.
