Steakhouse planned for Hilton project
Pittsburgh Blue Steakhouse, already with two locations in the Twin Cities metro, will open next year inside the 20-story Hilton Hotel project in downtown Rochester, its parent company announced Wednesday.
“Not only will Pittsburgh Blue in Rochester be the first out-of-town location for this concept. It will also be the city of Rochester’s first true steakhouse and a premier private dining and meeting venue,” said Phil Roberts, chief executive of Parasole Restaurant Holdings.
Like the restaurants in Maple Grove and Edina, the Pittsburgh Blue in Rochester will feature several distinct dining environments, including a main dining room, private dining areas and a pub-style tavern.
The menu, according to a news release, will feature proprietary cuts of aged, Midwestern beef along with fresh seafood and casual fare.
Both the restaurant and hotel are expected to open in spring of 2019.
