Rochester folk singer-songwriter Steven J. Schmidt was the featured performer for the fourth installment of the “Live from Med City” video series. The program, produced by Riverside Concerts, is an online video digest of all things arts and entertainment in Rochester. New episodes debut every Thursday through December 10. About the artist
Steven J. Schmidt, Sally Ordway Commitment Award winner recognizing his lifetime achievement, contribution, and leadership in the arts, is a Midwestern singer/songwriter who has written over 200 songs, and each one is like a bottle of fine, bourbon barrel-aged stout. He performs his rich, full-flavored original tunes, crafted over the last forty years, at house concerts, coffee houses, brew pubs, wineries, performing arts centers and theatres, and festivals. By day, Schmidt serves as the general manager of Riverside Concerts.
