About the artist
With 70's punk and garage band influences, Under the Pavilion's music features melodic guitar riffs, driving drums and loud bass! Founding members Pat Obert, guitar/lead vocals, and Adam Lien, bass, have been collaborating since college and released their first album, When We Started, February 2019. Joining them, Alex Smith on guitars and Alex Ortberg on drums, the group released a new single "Sixteenth Street" along with the B-Side "NASCAR" November 2019 in preparation for their second full length studio album. Following their album release, the group signed on and began working with Merrifield Records created by Mike Hindert, bassist for The Bravery. Throughout the years the group has played with many notable groups including Har Mar Superstar, Bad Bad Hats and Yam Haus. Under the Pavilion continues to gig throughout the regional area as well as play local festival gigs such as Big Turn Music Fest and Thursday's on First.
