Mayo relaxing visitor restrictions in Rochester
Mayo Clinic is easing its visitor restrictions at its Rochester sites amid declining Covid-19 case rates.
The changes, which take effect on Thursday, will allow adults in an inpatient setting to have up to two consistent designated visitors.
Visitors must be at least five years old. The updated policy is consistent with pediatric patient restrictions, which were softened earlier this month.
Olmsted County is now seeing less than 500 cases per week for the first time since mid-October. Hospitalizations are also down locally.
