Newt's to open new location at Crossroads Center on Wednesday

(THE MED CITY BEAT) - The best burgers in town are coming to South Broadway.

Newt's will open its fourth location near the Crossroads Shopping Center on Wednesday, an employee confirmed to the Med City Beat.

The popular restaurant chain is owned by David and Mark Currie of the Rochester-based Creative Cuisine Company. They own a total of nine restaurants in town including City Cafe and the Redwood Room.

Newt's South is about the same size as the north location and will employ about 20-30 people.

The space in Crossroads Center was originally supposed to be a Buffalo Wild Wings but the plan collapsed due to disputes over parking.
